Students’ dormitory on the premises of the campus
This dormitory is under construction at Ritsumeikan Uji Junior and Senior High School. Students can commute to and from school safely and securely every day. Students can focus on their studies, clubs, and extracurricular activities in this safe and secure environment without the burden of commuting.
It is located only a 3-minute walk from the campus.
The school site serves as the living area, it offers a safe and secure living environment for high school students who live away from their parents.

The building is designed with privacy in mind.
Both boys and girls share the cafeteria and group study room on the first floor, but they are separated at the entrance to the public baths, which are only available to dormitory students.
IC chip authentication has been installed at the external entrances and the entrances for each gender, and entry and exit are strictly controlled. The design takes privacy, security, and safety into consideration.


Diverse learning spaces where students can learn from each other
The Learning Commons and group study room are available to commuting students and provide spaces where students can interact and learn together. There is also a social space and a study room (self-study room) available only to dormitory students. This allows students to use the facilities according to the content and purpose of their studies.

The room can be used in a lecture format as well as for self-study and group study.

The shared facilities are the most distinctive feature of the dormitory, where students live, learn, and grow together. The facility can be used for a variety of purposes, from meeting up with friends and self-study to events, and is also available for commuting students after school.

This space is exclusively for dormitory students, with separate areas for male and female on each floor. This space has a tatami room and a kitchen where you can unwind and relax. Next to this area is a self-study room where you can focus on your work alone.

Home-made meals for breakfast and dinner
The dormitory provides two homemade meals per day: breakfast and dinner. Our professional staff carefully prepares daily menus that take into consideration the nutritional balance required for high school students during their growth period. We support students' health and daily rhythm while emphasizing seasonal ingredients and warm, home-style flavors. We provide a safe environment where students can enjoy peace of mind while eating during their busy school days.

House masters live in the dormitory.

*Image House masters (a husband and wife team) live in the dormitories and oversee the daily lives of the residents. In addition to providing daily support, the house masters respond to sudden illnesses and manage security. They support students' independence and growth, acting as a surrogate for their parents. We also provide detailed daily follow-up services, such as receiving home deliveries, to ensure students can live in the dormitory with peace of mind.

Although the dormitory has shared facilities, such as a learning commons and a group study room, each room is completely private. In this private space, you can focus on your studies or enjoy some alone time.

The spacious public bath is designed to help you unwind after a hard day's work. To ensure privacy, a partition board is installed in the washing area to create a private booth. And we equipped shared shower booths on each living floor.
